What I learned today

Today I learned that, while unloading a moving truck is typically a lot faster than loading one, it matters much where you are unloading it to.

For example, unloading a truck into a storage unit that is smaller than the apartment that the stuff came from (and smaller than the truck for that matter) is actually just as hard as loading the truck. With the added effect of gravity, combined with the transition of the aspect ratio of the stuff being moved, it might be even more difficult.

load carefully

I also learned, again, that nothing takes as short a time as you expect, and that french fries taste really good after moving a family member. But those were really reminders, not new learning.

Wow, I'm 9 years old again playing with my army men
